POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Responsible for six to eight campers. Lives with cabin group. Leads Bible Exploration, cabin time, one activity class, and cabin devotions. Plan and participates in evening program and all camp.

This is an all summer supervisory position. Coordinates all divisional activities, staff, and campers. Responsible for divisional evening programs and message. Teaches two activities.

Lifeguard Training Certification required for Waterfront Director and helpful for assistants. Responsible for coordinating and supervising all activities at the waterfront area each day. Water Safety Instructor Certification helpful along with experience in canoeing, sailing, water skiing and boat driving.

Responsible for care of 10-12 horses. Use Camp Horsemanship Association in teaching three classes in Western riding daily. Supervise corral aides. Also responsible for free time trail riding. Certification in CHA or HSA encouraged.

Responsible for leading songfests after each meal and at weekly worship service, all camp campfire, and vespers services. Plans and executes scripture memory contests. Teaches two activities. Helps lead evening campfire singing.

Responsible for teaching two outdoor/nature activities. Conducts outdoor free time activities. Provides campers opportunity for overnight tent camping experience during the week.

Responsible for dispensing camper and staff medications. Administers first aid and is available for “emergencies” ranging from scrapes to homesickness to trips to the Emergency room. Checks and rates cabin cleanliness daily.

Basic maintenance skills needed to keep camp operations running.

Basic cleaning and janitorial duties to keep camp sanitary and clean.

Head cook needed all summer to coordinate kitchen, order food, cook, and supervise assistants. Weekly assistants needed to prepare food and keep kitchen clean. Kitchen aide coordinator needed to coordinate setting tables, food distribution and dishes clean up at each meal through supervision of kitchen aides. An all summer staff member is also needed to do food ordering. This person can also work in the kitchen, or can assist in other parts of camp.

Receive campers’ money at registration, record daily purchases, balance accounts and return campers excess money on departure day. Sell clothes, souvenirs, pop, candy, books.
Tuck shop is open for about two hours each day. Accounting and organizational skills helpful.

Run camp office by answering phones, word processing, filing, copying, faxing.

Needed Friday at 3:00 P.M. until Sunday 1PM. Responsible for stay over campers between sessions. Prepare 2-3 meals, coordinate laundry schedule, assist with activities.
