Boys Weeks at camp are fun-filled, exciting weeks, intentionally designed for campers to experience God through Jesus, and to encourage and prepare campers to walk with Christ in every phase of life.
From worship time following meals, to evening messages from the directors to Bible Exploration time with their cabin, boys will hear from men about who our Lord is, His plan for our lives, and how we can trust Him in every phase of life.
Camp Cherith has a wide-range of skill-building activities and other fun-filled events for the campers. Each day the campers will spend time in two activities, the same two activities every day, to develop and build skills in a certain area: horseback riding, water skiing, woodworking, archery, nature knowledge, outdoor cooking, guitar, mountain biking, and so on. Every day consists of a cabin time when their cabin, together as a group, tries a new activity, which can be some of the above or other activities. During free time, some campers enjoy time trying one of the activities, or enjoying the waterfront, or other activities on the camp site.
Every year we welcome new staff to both weeks, however, the new staff will join the core staff for years to come. There is a core staff that come back year-after-year to serve the Lord at either Boys Week 1 or Boys Week 2.
